In House Design

Delivering what people see in their mind's eye is what we do everyday at Vision Remodeling. Helping our clients achieve this Vision is what we're most passionate about. However, it's not as easy as it sounds.

As with most interesting events, the process starts with a story – the homeowner's tale of the Vision they see in their mind of what their home can be. Listening very closely to that story and understanding all of the nuances in it are two of the most important parts of our process at Vision Remodeling. If we listen closely and ask the right questions a virtual design is born - but it still is a Vision. Turning that Vision into reality is essentially what our in-house design process does for our Clients.

After a design retainer is approved, we will determine critical measurements and structural elements needed to recreate the existing residence in a software program called Chief Architect. All of the elements from the Client's Vision are then incorporated into the program to reshape their home in a digital format. The software is the tool but our in-house design staff provides the power and creativity that drives it to make the Vision bigger and better than the Client could have ever imagined.

Once the design is complete, our Clients view 3D renderings of their new home on a 50" monitor in our office. This viewing provides our Clients with the ability to do a virtual walkthrough of the new structure to get a sense for the spatial changes that will enhance their lives for their duration in the home. This also helps our Clients determine if any changes need to be made to the design before it is finalized. From the approved design, we are able to produce all of the architectural drawings needed to gain the appropriate permits and pricing to execute the new structure.
